Prof. Warwick Vincent, T-MOSAiC Co-Chair, was interviewed by Radio Canada International this week. He had the opportunity to present our program and discuss some of the major goals of the project. The full interview can be accessed here.
Diogo Folhas, T-MOSAiC Executive Secretary, presented T-MOSAiC Implementation Plan (Action Groups) at the INTERACT Station Managers meeting in Vindeln, Sweden. The participation of T-MOSAiC aimed to invite station managers to collaborate with the program in data and sample collection and management during 2020. T-MOSAiC is very gratefull for the positive feedback received and for the future plans concerning T-MOSAiC Implementation.
João Canário, T-MOSAiC chair, presented very briefly the T-MOSAiC program at the Polar Session of the 14th International Conference on Mercury as a Global Pollutant in Krakow, Poland. The presentation included a very short description of T-MOSAiC goals and implementation and ended with the invitation to our mercury colleagues to collaborate with the related Action Groups.
A Sentinel North sponsored T-MOSAiC workshop on Arctic Microbiomes and Land-Water Processes took place last August 28th in Quebec City, Canada. Around 30 researchers at the meeting and another 20 online through Zoom discussed their work, how it relates to the respective AGs and how they can contribute to the scientific goals of T-MOSAiC.
